LARGE OUTDOOR MOLDED FIGURES. All our large outdoor fiberglass figures are manufactured using a unique 8 step molding process, similar to that used to make fiberglass boats. After the fiberglass has cured, it is sanded and painted using sunlight resistant paint. When the paint has dried the surface of the figure is sealed against the weather using clear urethane coating. All our large figures are designed and made for outdoor use. They will withstand all kinds of weather, including rain and snow. Many of our large products have ground mounting plates and D-Rings for attaching to the ground or other fixed surfaces such as walls and trees. We recommend ensuring that the figures are not left in standing water or frozen to the ground for lengthy periods. When the Holiday season is over the figures can be wiped with a damp cloth to remove dirt and bird droppings . Please do not use detergents of liquid cleaners as this may dull the attractive shine of the item. They should be stored inside in a clean , dry place, and returned to the original cartons or wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent scratching. To clean product make sure it is completely dry. Wipe with a soft cloth or paper towel. To remove bird droppings or stubborn stains use a damp cloth. DO NOT use soap, chemicals, detergents or hoses. Store in the shipping carton in a dry location. Designed to be hung from a stable, wall or solid post inserted in the ground.

TRUCK SHIPPING OF LARGE ITEMS

Many of our large outdoor Nativity Sets and outdoor decoration figures are too heavy and bulky for UPS or FedEx and must be delivered by truck. These items are shipped on wood pallets and are delivered by appointment. The average cost of this delivery service is 20 to 25% of the product cost in the eastern and mid-western US, except for Florida at 35%. Texas can budget 30% of product cost for most of the State with 40% for the far west.US West coast should budget 40 to 50% of product cost. Please use these percentages to estimate the total landed cost of this purchase. Also, please note that we are charging you what the trucking companies are charging us. These percentage shipping cost averages apply to residential and limited access delivery locations. Limited access locations, as defined by the trucking companies include, churches, office buildings, schools, hospitals and military bases. Shipments to commercial locations with loading dock or fork lift will cost about $60 less.
